How to Make Spiritual Mind Maps?

Material needed - per participant

10-15 A4 paper sheets (bigger size A3 paper sheets recommended), pencil, eraser, highlighter (yellow, green, red and as per taste), ball pen (blue, green, red and black), cardboard holder.

Each 90 minutes Session: Three separate A3/A4 sheets per participant

Additional sheets can be submitted as needed by participants.

Sheet-1: Introduction

Kindly write your Name, age, occupation and language on top in single line on first sheet.

Sheet-2: Specific Queries

  1. Write and submit.

  1. Procedure for asking questions: Questions will not be verbal. Submit in writing to the Coordinator, sheets are provided for this purpose and more.
  2. Ask general questions in short and pointed manner.

  4. Coordinator will process Mind Maps and then give them to the facilitator.
    • Highlight if required.
  5. Participants will keep making their mind maps and making notes of sessions.

Session 1: Easy Practical Spirituality - Karma Yoga For All

Introduction: About Us

Gita Gyan Yagya conducted by Sanskrit Team under Sanskrit Gyanganga program.

Gita

  2. We learn from each other (Gita 10.9).
  3. Kindly take advantage of the little we know and imperfectly present before you. Rendered in good faith and in all humility and without any claims whatsoever hoping that it may be useful to you.
  4. Value if any, you get from these sessions, all the credit goes to the Gita and all the imperfections are mine for which I apologise in advance at the beginning itself.
  5. I present before you for your critical examination as per principles of Gita.
  6. Aim is (Gita 5.11): Purification for individual and collective moksha (liberation).
  7. Gita 5.25 and 12.4: Collective moksha.
  8. Gita 3.9: Karma Yoga as medium.
  9. Gita 3.20-21: Core of Karma Yoga.

Session 3: Self Discovery with Mind Mapping

Own Life Journey as Mind Map.

  2. Make Mind Map (one can be shown) for writing their own life journey.
  3. Introduction to Mind Maps.
  4. Example life journey can be presented.
  5. People can write life journey, insights and query in Mind Map.
  6. These are to be submitted.
  7. This submission is base for third session to ensure these workshops are useful for the participants practically. Participation is not merely surface intellectualism. Their conscious participation with TATPARATA (Gita 4.39) is crucial. Self realization cannot be injected from outside.
  8. 10-20 minutes for people to write. Short points. Overview.
    • Divide life in timeline. School, college, marriage, child, turning points, major milestones.
    • Timeline from Date of Birth to present.
    • Review your life in your timeline in Mind Map.
    • Write lessons learned along the timeline. Interesting and useful.
    • It's all about awakening of consciousness for practical action starting from individual life.

Session 4: Spiritual Wellbeing: Personal Session(s)

Specifics can be discussed personally after the general sessions.
